FEVER cases in Kollam are rising sharply, with the number of patients seeking treatment at outpatient clinics surpassing 1,000 daily. According to the latest data from the Directorate of Health Services, 1,096 people visited OP clinics and 20 were admitted on June 5. Kollam recorded the second highest OP count in the state after Malappuram, which reported 1,625 patients. The total number of fever-related OP visits in the district has reached 4,172 this month.
