REFUTING the claims made by Union Minister of State for Petroleum Suresh Gopi over additional allocation of kerosene to Kerala, Fisheries Minister Saji Cherian said the Centre has cut down the state's kerosene allocation by 95%.
"The minister takes credit for increasing the kerosene allocation from 648 kilo litres to 1,248 kilo litres, but has conveniently forgotten the drastic cut by the Centre. The state had an annual allocation of 21,888 kilo litres of kerosene in 2021-22, which was cut down to 7,160 kilo litres in 202
