atch the scale and the area. Over the area has been knit-em for managing and it is anchored philosophy of 'My responsibility'. About the manage-disposal of biode-gradable waste and the disposal of non-biode-gradable materials into plastic, cloth, leather, etc. at the source or the point of generation. The compost and the generated has a role in proliferating gardening across the local bodies are collecting various non-biodegradable items from all the generated through the Haritha Kena (HKS). They are transported to the collection Facility where they are further processed; the reusables are used for upcycling and the recyclables are sent to their respective facilities.
Available solid waste is converted into compost in the compost plants which can be used as fertilizers for the plants. The process-reject items end up in the hazardous landfill. The process-reject items from the above nodes are disposed in a scientific landfill. But, the state does not have such a facility for the collection of waste, comparatively less, is a concern.
This is enshrined in the State's Policy for solid waste management (SWM) adopted in 2018.
