Bilimora tense as interstate arms racket busted, 5 nabbed after Gujarat gunfight

A dramatic gunfight erupted in the Bilimora city of Gujarat's Navsari district on Tuesday as the Gujarat Police's state monitoring cell (SMC) swooped in on a gang allegedly gathered at a hotel to exchange weapons.
Five gangsters were arrested after the fierce encounter in which one of them was shot in the leg. The police seized three country-made pistols and 27 live cartridges from the spot. A probe is on to ascertain the interstate links of the gang.
