The Museum police have registered cases against 28 Congress and Youth Congress members, including four women leaders, under grave sections, including attempt-to-murder, after they took out a protest march to the Cliff House, the official residence of CM Pinarayi Vijayan, on Wednesday night, which turned violent.

The Youth Congress members took out the march in protest against DYFI members obstructing Vadakara MP Shafi Parambil when he arrived to attend a private function in Vadakara. The Left outfit organised the protest alleging that the MP was protecting Rahul.
