Video of Muslim woman meditating at Gavi Mutt in Koppal goes viral

IN a rare instance, a Muslim woman has been visiting Gavisiddeshwar Mutt in Koppal and performing meditation for hours since the past six days.

The woman has taken hundreds of devotees at the mutt by surprise. The woman Hasina Begum is from Yelburga taluk's Kudarimoti village. She sits in front of a Naga idol for hours. Her photo has now gone viral with a strong message of communal harmony.

Hasina said that she is doing this to attain mental peace for which she has also taken blessings of the seer. Many Muslims visit the mutt as it is open to devotees from all castes, creeds and religions.
