Pontiffs Agree to Perform Annual Ritual on Rotational Basis

One year, pontiff of Uttaradi Matha to lead Aradhana process of three Swamijis, followed by pontiff of Sri Raghavendra Swami Matha the next year

Pontiff of Uttaradi Matha, Sri Satyatma Teertha seer, and the pontiff of Mantralaya Raghavendra Swamy Matha, Sri Subudhendra Teertha Seer, held a meeting to resolve the dispute regarding the conduct of annual Aaradhana of three pontiffs of Vaishnava Parampara at Nava Brindavana Hampi in Chennai on Thursday.

The meeting of the pontiffs took place at the initiative of former Supreme Court judge Sanjay Kishan Kaul, the SC-appointed mediator.

The Mathas are in conflict regarding Aaradhana and Puja of the Brindavanas of three pontiffs—Sri Padmanabha Teertharu, Sri Kavindra Teertharu, and Sri Vagisha Teertharu who belonged to both Uttaradi Matha and Raghavendra Swami Matha.
