NQAS Certification a Must for Health Centres in Ballari

BALLARI Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rahul Sharanappa Sankanur has instructed all medical officers to ensure that all health centres in the district are certified under the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS).

Speaking at a meeting with Health Department officials held on Tuesday, he said that health services provided at the community level by the government should meet quality standards and be certified at all stages.

The CEO said that health officers should take necessary steps to certify Ayushman Health Centres, Primary Health Centres, Community Health Centres and Taluk Hospitals in the district under the NQAS. This will improve the credibility of public hospitals and health centres in the district.
