Govt to build museum where Ambedkar stayed: Min

ON the 134th birth anniversary of Dr Ambedkar, the women and child development minister Laxmi Hebbalkar said that plans are being executed to make a museum in Kangral Galli, Belagavi, where Dr BR Ambedkar once stayed.

ON the 134th birth anniversary of Dr Ambedkar, the women and child development minister Laxmi Hebbalkar said that plans are being executed to make a museum in Kangral Galli, Belagavi, where Dr BR Ambedkar once stayed. "It will be executed in consultation with local MLAs and by bringing it to the government's attention," said the minister.

She was speaking to the media after participating in Ambedkar's 134th birth anniversary; she highlighted the global significance of the constitution and expressed pride in how India, through its constitution, has set an example of democracy for the world.
