3 Students 'Barred' From Classroom After Death of Kin, Govt Orders Probe

The School and Mass Education department on Monday ordered an inquiry after three students of a government-run school in Balikuda were reportedly made to sit in a separate classroom due to the death of their family member.
The probe was ordered on the basis of a video of the incident which went viral on social media. The incident took place in a government primary school at Thakurapatana under Nagpur panchayat last week.
Sources said three students of Class IV and V went to the school a day after the death of their 75-year-old grandfather.
