HAVERI-Gadag BJP MP and former chief minister Basavaraj Bommai has clarified that he is not an aspirant for the party's state president's post. He, however, stated that he would take the lead in uniting the party.

Speaking to reporters in Haveri on Thursday, Bommai said, "My name is doing the rounds on social media. All that is of no importance. I am not an aspirant. I will take the lead in uniting the party."
