Officials of Tourism Department and Forest Department visit the proposed project spot
A proposed project to develop Nrupatunga Betta by building a ropeway has got a fillip as top officials of the Tourism Department and Forest Department visited the site and conducted a site inspection in the presence of Hubballi-Dharwad Central MLA Mahesh Tenginkai.
For decades, Hubballi city has held great significance in commercial sectors. Efforts in the past were also made to develop the city into a nodal point for tourism as it has better connectivity with tourist places of the northern and central parts of Karnataka, apart from developing some spots as tourist destinations in and around the city.
