Belagavi drug racket busted, nine arrested

In a major breakthrough against the drug trade, officials of the CEN (Crime and Enforcement) police arrested nine suspects for supplying ganja in Belagavi and neighbouring regions.
Out of these, three key accused, including the alleged mastermind, will now be taken into police custody for further interrogation.
Over the past month, CEN Police Inspector BR Gadhekar and his team have seized 50 kg 452 grams of ganja, along with 13 mobile phones, two cars, a motorcycle, and 11 other items from the accused.
