A former worker of Government Krishnagiri District Headquarters Hospital allegedly duped a 32-year-old woman of ₹150, claiming that she had to pay for an MRI scan covered under the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS).
The man later repaid her on Saturday. A health department source told TNIE, "The woman, a garment factory worker, had taken her 10-year-old son to the Kelamangalam Upgraded Primary Health Centre on Tuesday.
