Former K'taka CM asked to submit ₹5L bond and not leave HC's jurisdiction sans permission
THE High Court of Karnataka on Friday quashed the trial court's order taking cognisance of offences against former chief minister and BJP leader BS Yediyurappa under the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, and IPC.
However, the high court said the investigation of crime and the final report submitted by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) will remain intact and sent the case back to the trial court to pass an appropriate order, keeping in mind the observations made in this order.
