THE Greater Chennai Police on Thursday arrested one Amalraj, an ex-serviceman posted as security at Naam Tamilar Katchi leader Seeman's house in Neelankarai, on charges of attempt to murder after he resisted a team of police personnel at the house while possessing a licenced gun.
The incident happened during intense drama after a summons — pasted by police on Thursday on the gate of Seeman's house asking him to appear before the Valasaravakkam police for inquiry in an ongoing case — was torn by one Subakaran, an aide of Seeman.
