Vaiko Jr regrets assault on journo during MDMK zonal meeting

A day after a journalist was assaulted during MDMK's Tirunelveli zonal meeting in Virudhunagar, the party's principal secretary and Tiruchy MP Durai Vaiko expressed regret on Thursday.
According to sources, MDMK cadre snatched the camera of the journalist Jayaraman, and manhandled him when he was recording the empty chairs on Wednesday night, allegedly at the instructions of party general secretary Vaiko.
