ABVP seeks judicial probe

TERMING the FM Autonomous College incident, where a girl student resorted to self-immolation on campus over alleged sexual harassment by her HoD, a fallout of institutional failure, political bullying and character assassination, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Tuesday demanded immediate formation of a judicial panel for a court-monitored probe into the incident.
ABVP Odisha secretary Diptimayee Pratihari said they have sought formation of a judicial committee headed by a sitting or retired judge of the Orissa High Court for monitoring the investigation.
