NIA Raids 12 Locations in Jammu to Probe Into Infiltration of Terrorists

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday conducted searches at 12 locations, including premises of terrorists' sympathisers, in Jammu district as part of its probe into infiltration by Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorists from across the border.

"During the raids, NIA teams conducted extensive searches at the homes of overground workers (OGWs) linked with newly formed offshoots and affiliates of banned terror organisations like LeT and JeM," an NIA spokesman said. "The premises of sympathisers and cadres of the terror outfits were also searched as part of the action taken by the NIA in connection with a case relating to infiltrations registered last year," he said.
