Unnao rape: Survivor's mother, activists protest bail to Sengar outside HC

A group of people, including Unnao rape survivor's mother, on Friday held a protest outside the Delhi High Court expressing their disapproval against court's recent decision, suspending the life imprisonment of expelled BJP leader Kuldeep Singh Sengar in the case.

Talking to the media, the survivor's mother said she would approach the Supreme Court against the high court order, noting that her daughter had endured "immense suffering". "I am not blaming the entire high court but the two judges whose decision has shattered our trust. The judges had delivered justice earlier, but the accused has now been granted bail now," she rued.
