PM takes on Oppn for 'disrupting' House

Says those repeatedly rejected by people trying to control Parliament proceedings with brand of negative politics

A combative Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday targeted the Opposition for "blocking and disrupting proceedings" in both Houses of Parliament, "despite people repeatedly rejecting their brand of negative politics."

To mark the beginning of the winter session of Parliament, the Prime Minister in a customary statement to the media said, "The session is special for many reasons, including the beginning of the 75th year of the Constitution's adoption. A handful of people rejected by the public are trying to control Parliament by creating disorder. People weigh their actions and when the time comes, they punish them."
