The Special Investigation Team (SIT) found former Special Intelligence Branch (SIB) chief T Prabhakar Rao a tough nut to crack during his questioning at the Jubilee Hills police station on Monday in the alleged phone-tapping case.
Prabhakar Rao returned to Hyderabad from the United States on Sunday night after being granted interim protection from arrest by the Supreme Court.
As per the court's guidelines, Prabhakar Rao was required to appear before the police within three days of his return. Accordingly, he presented himself for questioning on Monday.
