Man caught 9 years after brutally thrashing two, leaving one paralysed

A 33-year-old man who brutally thrashed two people, paralysing one among them for life, was arrested by the Crime Branch of the Delhi Police nine years after he committed the crime, along with his associates.
The accused, Kapil Chauhan, fled the country in 2021 and went to Russia to evade arrest. As per the officials, he resided there for three years on student visa. Sharing details of nearly the decade-old incident, DCP (Crime) Satish Kumar said in August 2015 a man named Vivek, along with his brother Ritesh, was leaving Gandhi market area Sagarpur, Delhi after having dinner.
