OVER half a dozen incidents involving the targeting of interstate vehicles over flags, registration numbers and social media posts have been reported from Karnataka-Tamil Nadu border districts in recent days, triggering tension and raising serious law-and-order concerns at a time when thousands of pilgrims are travelling between the two states.

Vehicles from Karnataka carrying devotees with Karnataka flags on it are stopped in Tamil Nadu and they were asked to remove the flags displayed.
