India's First Chip Pilot Inaugurated in Gujarat

MINISTER of Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw on Thursday inaugurated the country's first end-to-end Semiconductor OSAT (outsourced semiconductor assembly and test) pilot line facilities at Sanand, Gujarat, established by CG Power.
Speaking at the event, Vaishnaw said that the inauguration of this pilot line represents a decisive step toward realising India's ambition of developing a robust semiconductor ecosystem encompassing design, manufacturing, and downstream capabilities.
