Honey trap row: Siddu aides likely to approach Rahul
The Morning Standard
|March 23, 2025
KARNATAKA Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is likely to push the ball to Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi's court with regard to the alleged honey trap attempt on his cabinet colleague, cooperation minister K N Rajanna.
As per sources, Rajanna and PWD minister Satish Jarkiholi, close aides of Siddaramaiah, plan to call on Rahul Gandhi in the national capital soon.
AICC general secretary K C Venugopal, a sympathiser of Siddaramaiah, would facilitate Rajanna and Satish duo to put forth their issues before the top party leadership.
According to sources, the two Nayaka leaders would narrate the conspiracy of a leader to honey trap his own party's leaders to hinder them politically. Their intention is to snub the leader from claiming the 'top post', a Congress leader informed this newspaper.
