Ghost vehicles used in transporting paddy to rice mills in ₹30 cr MP scam

A probe has revealed a paddy scam worth over ₹30 crore in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh.
On the basis of the probe, 12 criminal cases have been lodged against 74 people, including 13 employees of the MP State Civil Supplies Corporation, 17 rice millers and 44 staff of cooperative societies which procured the paddy from farmers in 2024-25 on behalf of the government, officials said.
