CARRYING vials of insulin, AAP leaders and workers on Sunday reached Tihar demanding that insulin is administered to jailed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who is suffering from diabetes.

AAP reaches Tihar with insulin for Kejriwal

When the jail administration refused to accept the medicine, AAP workers staged a protest outside Tihar, raising slogans of 'Kejriwal ko insulin do' (give insulin to Kejriwal).

AAP leaders said despite attempts to deliver insulin injections brought by them, jail officials refused to accept the medication, sparking outrage among workers.

Reacting to the AAP protest, Delhi BJP said the party had lost connect with the people of Delhi and is undergoing a phase of political frustration. "AAP leaders' only hope is to create public sympathy over health of Kejriwal," Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva said.
