EBRAHIM Essa in "How will the modern heroes be remembered?" in The Mercury (November 4), claims the RSS will be remembered for "catalysing' the partition of India and Jinnah for pushing the agenda.
Let me remind him of the letter, "Antipathy against India exposed", in The Mercury of March 19, 2024 which points out that the two nation theory is based on Quranic teaching.
The extract reads: Dr Tanveer Hussain of Pakistan explains: Two-nation theory was pivotal in laying the foundation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The Creator of the mankind has divided human beings into two main categories: Believers (Muslims) or Momins; and the non-Muslims, which BR Ambedkar, said divides humanity 'inexorably'. How was the RSS responsible for "catalysing" something that goes back 1 400 years?
