Wissa saga 'not ideal' - Bees boss

BRENTFORD boss Keith Andrews has broken his silence on Yoane Wissa's future as Newcastle United continue to chase a deal for the 28-year-old striker.

Wissa last month jetted back from the Bees’ Portugal training camp near Lisbon, holding crunch talks with sporting director Phil Giles back in London.

Since then, Andrews' first team have returned to UK, continued their training at their west London base and beaten Queens Park Rangers in a preseason friendly.

Wissa, however, has played no part in any of his side's summer plans of late as he holds out for a move this month.
