United ticket allocation reduced for derby clash

NEWCASTLE United have been given 2,528 tickets for next month's Wear-Tyne derby against rivals Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, with the application process now open.

The two clubs have agreed to match their away allocation for the first Premier League derbies since the 2015-16 season.
However, as Newcastle have decided to close the balcony seating in Level 7 of the away end for the St James’ Park match later this season, Sunderland have reduced the allocation for United fans.
