Two men held after 'firearm threat'

TWO men have been arrested after a man was reportedly threatened with a firearm in Northumberland.

Armed police were called to Newbiggin-by-the-Sea on Sunday afternoon following an altercation.

A man was reportedly threatened with the suspected firearm from inside a property, after he had attempted to break up an altercation in the street. No-one was injured in the incident, but two men in their 20s were arrested.
