Start for Cats keeper Roefs 'all he could want'

SUNDERLAND goalkeeper Robin Roefs continued the start he “could only have wished for” as the Black Cats picked up a point from a goalless draw at Crystal Palace.

The Dutchman, a summer signing from NEC Nijmegen, said the Wearsiders will continue to scrap for points.
“It's really nice to have two clean sheets already, when the season started I could only have wished for a start like this,” the 22-year-old, who made his debut in a 3-0 win over West Ham, told Sunderland’s website.
