Slowing down can help you find inner balance

We've all heard of the phrase ‘busy fools’. And it's true, sometimes we can find ourselves racing around, thinking we should be getting a badge of honour when really we're achieving very little.

- By Sharon Green

But the real power move is slowing yourself down - so says meditation teacher and business mentor Jo Irving (joirving.com).

The Mindset & Success Coach has shared her top 20 small but transformative shifts to you help you find an inner balance.

“True productivity isn't about doing more - it’s about feeling grounded, focused and fulfilled while you do it,” she says.

Here are her ready, steady, slow tips...

1. Say no with love - Decline anything that feels like a “should” rather than a soul-led yes.

2. Mono-task - Give one thing your full attention.

3. Create spacious mornings - Start your day without immediately grabbing your phone. A few quiet minutes for intention-setting can reset your nervous system.
