Sadiki still suffering with face injury - Le Bris

SUNDERLAND head coach Regis Le Bris admits Noah Sadiki is still suffering after taking a whack in the face during the win over Bournemouth at the weekend.

Cherries’ midfielder Lewis Cook was shown a straight red card for elbowing the Black Cats midfielder in the face, deep into injury time.

Sadiki was down on the ground for a lengthy period, but Le Bris believes he'll be in contention for the game tonight, despite still having a swollen face.

“He's suffered and he still is now,” Le Bris said. “He will be okay for Wednesday but he suffered.”
