NOAH Sadiki admitted Sunderland were left frustrated after their 3-1 defeat at West Ham but insisted the group will quickly reset and respond, writes CLIVE YOULTON.
The result at London Stadium marked only the Black Cats' sixth defeat of the Premier League campaign, and just a second loss in nine matches across all competitions.
Reflecting on the performance, Sadiki felt the opening period proved costly.
"It's obviously disappointing," Sadiki told safc.com.
"I don't think our intensity was where it needed to be in the first half, and at this level you get punished for that.
"West Ham were sharp and we allowed them too much control early on."
