A SWIMMER proposed to his partner at yesterday's Boxing Day Dip.
The annual event provided the perfect moment for Daniel Thompson to pop the question to Gemma Callender after braving the cold water at Longsands beach in Tynemouth.
The North Shields couple, who have been together for two years, met when they became members of local swimming group Dip Club. And now they like to start their day with a morning swim together at Cullercoats Bay.
