Probe under way after woman dies at property

AN INVESTIGATION is under way following the death of a woman at Northumberland property.

Northumbria Police were called to Second Avenue, Blyth, after receiving a report of concern for the welfare of a woman from paramedics.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, the woman, in her 50s, was pronounced dead.

A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the support of controlled drugs.
