Pool set to open again after £1.6m makeover

A POPULAR swimming pool with a wave machine and water slide is set to re-open today after a major £1.6m refurbishment.

Improvements have been made to the pool and changing area of the Prudhoe Waterworld, which originally opened in 1990, by Northumberland County Council.
