Muckle staff reap rewards of law firm's continued growth thanks to 'clear goals'

LAW firm Muckle has hailed another successful year having grown turnover and profits in its latest set of accounts.

The Newcastle LLP, which also runs offices in Cumbria and on Tees-side, saw turnover boosted by 12% to more than £19m in the year to the end of March, 2025.

Operating profit grew modestly from £4.04m to £4.82m, while pretax profit was up from £4.2m to £5m.

Partners in the North East Business of the Year-winning company pointed to investment over the past two years, and singled out growth in its agriculture, rural estates, and private client divisions which saw 27% growth.

Meanwhile, the firm's construction team which has seen senior appointments grew 20% and its national debt recovery practice saw 17% growth.
