NON LEAGUE

GRAEME Lee is eager to add to his Spennymoor Town squad, admitting there are a number of areas still to improve - particularly in attack.

Lee has overseen a solid start to the new National League North campaign with Spennymoor seventh in the table after their opening eight games following Saturday's shutout victory over Leamington.

But with the Football League transfer window closing last week, Lee wants to revisit the market to bolster his squad ahead of their return to league duty later this month, with Moors set to make their FA Cup bow this weekend with a trip to Northern League's West Auckland Town.

And one of the key areas highlighted by Lee remains in attack - despite what has been another blistering start to the season from the irrepressible Glen Taylor.

Spennymoor's talismanic striker added his fifth and sixth goals of the campaign in Saturday's win, but Lee wants to support the 35-year-old having lost the key experience of Gary Madine who made the decision to retire from football last month, despite only arriving at the Brewery Field this summer.
