ROD Millman’s Lyra Lea can prevail in the Book Your Venue At thetankwal. co.uk Nursery Handicap at Haydoc!

HORSE POWER Millman hoping Lyra can be his bright star

After placing in her first three career starts, she made a breakthrough last time out on the all-weather at Lingfield when a wide-margin winner of a maiden.

Her prior form includes some fair efforts on turf, however, and she looks to have plenty more to offer as even under a 6lb penalty, she is still 31b wellin.

John Berry has his small string in very good order and his Double Meaning looks capable of also carrying a penalty to victory in the At The Races App Expert Tips Handicap at Lingfield.

A Godolphin castoff, Berry picked him up for 25,000 guineas, and won by 10 lengths on just his third run for him.

The handicapper raised him 111b but he carries just a 6lb penalty here, which puts the weights firmly in his favour.
