Filer off to India for World Cup

DURHAM'S Lauren Filer has been named in a 15-strong squad to represent England Women at the ICC Women's World Cup in India.

The tournament runs from September 30 to November 2 and will be the first ICC tournament for both head coach Charlotte Edwards and captain Nat Sciver-Brunt.

Sciver-Brunt's predecessor Heather Knight has been named in the squad as she continues her comeback from injury.
