England U19 rookie signs deal with Durham

JAMES Minto has signed his first professional contract with Durham, penning a two-year rookie deal running until the end of the 2027 season.

Minto (pictured right), a product of the Durham Cricket pathway, joined the Academy in 2024, having first represented the Club at Under-14 level, progressing through the Cleveland programme.

The 17-year-old all-rounder made his Durham first-class debut against Surrey at the Oval and has played four red ball games for Durham, picking up a best of 5/21 against Zimbabwe A in Harare.
