Dubravka goes with best wishes from club

NEWCASTLE United have said an emotional farewell to Martin Dubravka after a seven-year spell at the club.

The Slovakian international signed a new contract at St James' Park only in January but was unhappy at the prospect of being number 3 and cancelled plans to join the squad in South Korea once it became obvious that a deal for Aaron Ramsdale was being pushed through.

It means a transfer fee will be due to Newcastle as Burnley, ironically, replace the man the Magpies tried to sign in James Trafford with one of United's best goalies.
