Calls to save library bus

THERE are more calls for North Tyneside Council to reverse its decision to scrap its library bus.

On Wednesday, the council announced it was scrapping its library bus due to the age of the vehicle and its declining use among the public. Council chiefs stated the bus was no longer value for money but that key aspects of the service, including book deliveries to those in care homes, will be retained separately.
