Bobat is Spirit's new director

CRICKET Mo Bobat, the former England backroom guru, has been appointed director of cricket at London Spirit, who have also announced they will retain their franchise name going forwards.

Mo Bobat, the their first Indian Premier League title this year, and he will join the Spirit in October ahead of the 2026 campaign.

Bobat spent 12 years in England's setup and the men’s team won both white-ball World Cups when he was performance director before he resigned in 2023 to take up a post at Royal Challengers Bangalore.
