Royal College booked a semifinal berth against Mahanama College after Rehan Peiris with a half century and Dushen Udawela with a valuable all round performances helped the Reid Avenue team secure victory according to DLS method in the Under 17 Division I quarterfinal at Campbell Place.

In reply to Royal's 265, St. Anthony’s Katugastota were 128 for 9 in 30 overs. They were 66 runs behind the DLS target after rain interruptions reduced the chase to 30 overs.
