Indian Supreme Court publishes assets of its judges

In a near midnight move at absolute transparency, the Supreme Court of India (SCI) on Monday (May 5, 2025) published the assets of 21 of a total of its 33 serving judges.
"Statement of assets of the other 12 Judges will be uploaded as and when the current statement of assets is received," the court said in a press release.
The publication comes a few days before Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna retires on May 13.
All five Supreme Court Collegium judges have published their assets on the website (https://www.sci.gov.in).
