Devapathiraja heading for another historic first

A day after their senior counterparts achieved a historic win at the Under 17 Division I cricket final, the Under 15 team of Devapathiraja College Ratgama knocked out Royal College, Colombo to book their first ever berth in an Under 15 Division I cricket final on Tuesday.
They scored a first innings win over Royal as skipper Diyath Sanjitha excelled with the ball and the bat to seal their place in the final.
In reply to Royal's first innings score of 162 runs, Devapathiraja made 166 for seven wickets as Linuwara Sathvidu with a half century and Diyath Sanjitha with 47 runs held their batting together. The duo put on a valuable fourth wicket stand of 88 runs.
